As the Lead of the UI Systems Design team at Coinbase, I oversee a talented group of 12 designers responsible for shaping and evolving the Coinbase design system. A design system is the blueprint for creating consistent, scalable user experiences—combining guidelines, reusable components, and best practices that drive efficiency and innovation across all our platforms. My team also manages the in-product brand system, crafting every element from content and motion to illustration and visual design, ensuring Coinbase's visual identity is seamlessly integrated. Together, we work to define the future of money, creating intuitive, secure, and engaging experiences that empower millions globally to participate in the evolving world of digital finance.
